Peter Amstutz

Peter Amstutz is Professor of Piano and Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at West Virginia University. A prizewinner in the Maryland International Piano Competition (subsequently renamed in honor of William Kapell) and medalist in the Casagrande International Piano Competition in Italy, Amstutz has performed throughout Europe and the United States. In recent years, he has also made frequent tours of Asia, presenting recitals and master classes in major cities of Japan

Akira Imai

Mr. Akira Imai was born in Tokyo in 1954. At the invitation of Paul Badura-Skoda, Mr.Imai moved to Vienna at age sixteen. Already at age nineteen, he graduated from State University for Music in Vienna with high honors. He continued his studies under Professor Paul Badura-Skoda in Germany and received a Concert Diploma from the Folkwang Hochschule for Music, Essen, in 1979. Loo Bang Hean

Born in Ipoh, Malaysia, Bang Hean's teachers in Malaysia include Serena Chow and Rickie Oui. He was the 1st prize winner of the First National Mozart Piano Competition in 1987, and following his success in the LRSM performing diploma in that same year the ABRSM awarded him a four-year scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music (RCM), London.

Oh Yann Shie

A third prizewinner at the 2008 Nikolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Paris, Yann Shie holds a Doctoral Degree in Piano Performance from the prestigious Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire and two minors in voice accompaniment and chamber music.

P'ng Tean Hwa

P'ng Tean Hwa has appeared in many public concert performances as a soloist as well as collaborative pianist in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Hungary, and the USA. As a clinician, he has presented numerous lectures, workshops, and seminars to both piano teachers and the general audience, and conducted many masterclasses. He is frequently invited to serve as a guest examiner and also to adjudicate competitions, most recently the 2nd Thailand Mozart International Competition.

Tan Siok Lian

Siok Lian Tan is Associate Professor of Piano at Miami University. She teaches applied piano, piano pedagogy, and coordinates the class piano program. She holds a D.M.A. degree in Piano from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has been heard in live broadcasts on Cincinnati Public Radio Station WGUC and has appeared as soloist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Oxford Chamber Orchestra, and Miami University Symphony Orchestra

Choi Hee Jung, a Korean pianist residing in Malaysia, obtained her Master Degree from Western Illinois University where she was awarded with the Graduate Assistant Award. While at WIU, Hee Jung has won the concerto competition as a soloist one year and as a trio ensemble in the year after. Subsequently, she was admitted into the University of Iowa post-graduate program as a recipient of the prestigious John Simms Piano Award and Graduate Assistantship.

Lim Pei Sien is known for her aptitude to collaborate well with other musicians. She has performed in recitals and music festivals in Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Austria and the USA as a chamber musician as well as a soloist.
