P’ng Tean Hwa is Professor and Director of the Institute of Music at UCSI University, where he has served since 1997. At UCSI University, he is a long-standing member of the University Examination Board, a member of the University Council in 2016–2020, and the Chair of the Senate Learning and Teaching Committee in 2007–2010. He was pivotal in establishing UCSI University’s International Piano Festival and Competition as well as the Piano Pedagogy Conference, which are held biennially in alternate years since 2014.

Gabriel Kwok is Professor at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and has been Head of Keyboard Studies since 1989. A Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music in London, he has given many masterclasses internationally including at the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music, Hannover Hochschule für Musik und Theater, Eastman School of Music, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Peabody Institute and Yale School of Music.

All-around pianist Liao Chiao-han, a native of Taiwan, is an active performer of solo and chamber music throughout the United States, Taiwan, Japan, and Finland. Ms. Liao is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, the Juilliard School and Yale School of Music. She participated in XIV International Frederic Chopin Competition in Warsaw in 2000, and Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD Munchen in 2002.

Professor Huang-Davie earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia after graduating in Piano Performance at Xi'an Conservatory (China) with a baccalaureate.

Morag Yong was born in Kuching, Malaysia. She entered the Royal College of Music (RCM), London to study piano with Peter Element. After graduating with First Class and also obtaining the ARCM Teaching Diploma, Morag continued at RCM to obtain the Master of Music degree in Performance Studies. Whilst at college, she won numerous prizes including the Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Prize for the most outstanding Graduation Recital. Her education in London has been made possible with the generous support of the Sarawak Foundation, The Countess of Munster Musical Trust and The Charles Napper Trust.
