Her passion lies in nurturing a new generation of young pianists, guiding them in discovering their unique artistry and preparing them for success on international stages.

Chee Su-yen

Malaysian pianist Su-yen Chee has established herself both as a soloist and chambermusician. She has given solo and collaborative recitals in the United States, HongKong, Japan, China, Korea, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

Cheong Yew Choong

Cheong Yew Choong holds his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate Degrees from West Virginia University (USA) under full scholarship and graduate assistantship. His teachers include Prof Dr Peter Amstutz and Prof Dr P’ng Tean Hwa.

Chiew Zhi Hong

Hailing from Kajang, Chiew Zhi Hong’s musical journey began with Yamaha’s Junior Music Course (JMC) at age 4, under Mr Gary Wong. He continued with the Junior Special Advanced Course (JSAC) and concluded with the Special Advanced Course (SAC) and a Yamaha Grade 5 teaching certification under the tutelage of Mr Lim Hock Seng.

Choi Hee Jung

Hee Jung Choi, a Korean pianist residing in Malaysia, obtained her Master’s degree from Western Illinois University (WIU),, where she was awarded the Graduate Assistant Award.

Heah Zi Ling

Originally from Penang, Zi-Ling is currently a Full-time Lecturer in Music at UCSI University. She earned her Doctoral and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance from West Virginia University and Bowling Green State University in the USA.

Ho Su Han

Ho Su Han is an assistant professor at the UCSI University Institute of Music, where she also serves as chamber music ensemble coordinator. She chairs the 4th Piano Pedagogy Conference in 2025, having served as vice chair for its third edition in 2023.

Jaz Tan

Jaz Tan is a multifaceted musician and educator, renowned for her exceptional skills in piano and harp performance, as well as her dedication to music education. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Canada, Jaz earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Literature under full scholarship.

Kenneth Teh Kien Huat

A native of Petaling Jaya, Kenneth is a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky, where he studied under Professor Natalia Trull. Whilst in Russia, he performed regularly in Moscow and St Petersburg.

Lee Yin Hwa

Lee Yin Hwa, an adjunct piano lecturer of UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia obtained his Bachelors and Masters from Western Illinois University(WIU), and a one-year post-graduate study at Boston University under the Dean’s scholarship.

Lim Pei Sien

Lim Pei Sien is known for her aptitude to collaborate well with other musicians. She has performed in recitals and music festivals in Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Austria and the USA as a chamber musician as well as a soloist.

Leong Mann Yee

Leong Mann Yee is a Master of Philosophy (Performance) graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music, who obtained her Master of Music from Birmingham Conservatoire

Morag Yong

Morag Yong was born in Kuching, Malaysia. She entered the Royal College of Music (RCM), London to study piano with Peter Element. After graduating with First Class and also obtaining the ARCM Teaching Diploma, Morag continued at RCM to obtain the Master of Music degree in Performance Studies. Whilst at college, she won numerous prizes including the Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Prize for the most outstanding Graduation Recital. Her education in London has been made possible with the generous support of the Sarawak Foundation, The Countess of Munster Musical Trust and The Charles Napper Trust.

Ysan Suit Yin

Assistant Professor Ysan Suit Yin is the Head of the Classical Music Degree at UCSI University and a dedicated educator with a strong focus on piano pedagogy. She holds distinguished teaching credentials including ATCL, LTCL, LRSM, and was among the first in Southeast Asia to earn the Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music in teaching.

Yong Sue Yi

Yong Sue Yi is a distinguished piano performer and educator with a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, which she completed in 2010, under the tutelage of Ms Marian Hahn
